South Shore Habitat for Humanity
Braintree, MA
To Whom it May Concern:
I have had the honor of working with Susan Petersen for over a year since I started working at South Shore Habitat for Humanity. Although Sue only officially signed on to volunteer with us as the Faith Relations Chair on our Board of Directors, she has since taken on multiple other roles and responsibilities above and beyond the typical volunteer.
Thanks to her professional experience and advanced training in graphic arts we became very dependent on her expertise for a variety of artistic needs. Sue is always eager to help design materials for the next event or mentor a new community group as to how to design their own materials. Examples of her work surround us in our workplace: the T-shirts she designed, the caricatures which she’s created for staff presents, fliers for upcoming fundraisers and even handmade holiday ornaments.
Not only do we feel fortunate to have her support for the office, she has been a source of inspiration and encouragement to innumerous other volunteers. She is someone who will motivate and enlighten any working group. She is a vibrant and devoted member of any team. I have witnessed her capacity to multi-task to the extreme as we have various fellow volunteers pulling her in various directions as she is multi-talented and always eager to help. Your graphic design department would benefit from having Sue a part of the team.
Sincerely,
Phoebe Morad
